Too quick Dick.

How much do you like or hate being called Dick, Richard? Not being smart...just curious. I have a friend called Richard who's blood boils if you ever call him Dick
Loads of me mates call me Dickie (Richard Dickinson works well there, after all) but never get called Dick by anyone.

And you're not intending to go back, given us Brits' self-centredness? :p
Will when I'm ready. ;) Got a Scottish girlfriend, decently-paid job (where I don't get yelled at for blatantly surfing the net all day), nice flat with a rare breed of landlord (ie, nice one) so nothing much to run from just yet. Still, can't wait to get back to Auckland weather and my family, so I won't be here forever.

Really do wonder about how Franklin can set up so many extras. Does he have an inconsistent stride or something?

Lovely team England. Always keen to give it away with the softest dismissals you could imagine. Like I said earlier, you couldn't name a weaker top 3 from the proper sides in this WC.

Agreed. Though Mark Richardson isn't bad either. Hussain is a really good commentator and he's not exactly scared of voicing an opinion.
Not much of a Richardson fan, TBH - he better sums-up the new-kids-on-the-block of the Waqar, Srinath mould in being average.

For England its important that KP and Collingwood stay atleast till the 40 th over, then Freddie can come in and go bang bang.

KP looking a bit restless atm.

TBH, though, with no Trescothick there's not really much blame you can lay on the selectors.

I would say that our innings begins now really, as in I'd be disappointed at the loss of the next 3 wickets but wasn't for the last three.
Give me Coney any day of the week.
I really enjoy listening to Coney, excellent commentary during the 2004 series which kept me going during my exams.

:lol: Good way of putting it!

And these cross-bat strokes are being virtually nothing but trouble today...

Franklin tidying up a bit, I have to say. His eco is heading down towards 4 rather than up towards 5. Not bad for, well, Franklin.

I think Freddie is the only bloke in the english team who likes to play in the "V" straight down the ground.

He says, as he goes for four off the last ball of the PowerPlays, with Patel immidately on.

Was almost a catch to Vincent, though.

EDIT: cripes, plenty of turn evident from Patel's 1st ball!!!!!!!!!!!!
