9.45am Utter confusion in St Lucia. First of all the captains forgot to change teamsheets before the toss, and then it emerged that TV were working from a predicted side and not the actual one, and so while they all pontificated about the wisdom of Stephen Fleming leaving out the second spinner, Jeetan Patel was in the XI all along. Cue red faces and hurried apologies from the experts ...

EDIT: Beaten to it by the man in Japan.

I don't think it's harsh on Franklin. He's shown plenty of times he can't necessarily be trusted to bowl 10 overs.

Well, you'd know better than me tbf. I do know he's done well against England though, so maybe I've just seen the best of him.

btw who's the batsman in the b&w photo?

I'd say Franklin is one of those 75% players, in that 75% of the time he'll do fine and then 25% of the time he's tripe. Can often swing it too far for his own good - if he had more control over what he's doing then I'd like his play more.
