Kristof Vliegen is his name, i think he will really use the weekends performances to springboard his year now.

Apparently Hewitt wasnt too impressed with him though, but I say stuff Hewitt...

Vliegen was so funny. Don't give a crap what Hewitt says, he now knows how it feels when the shoe is on the other foot.

There's no doubt Vliegen got over-excited and stuff, but his staredowns of Hewitt were amazing. He really just took it to Hewitt, and Hewitt had no answer. How bad did he serve! Couldn't get a first serve in if his life depended on it.

Hewitt shouldn't be going 5 sets with Rochus either. Fair enough he won, but Hewitt has a long way to go to even think about being in the top 10 again.

Germany's win over Croatia in the Davis Cup on the weekend was great too, Haas was absolutely amazing in crushing both Ancic and Ljubicic, have to agree with the commentators that if he plays anywhere near this good for the rest of the year its a formality he'll make Shanghai.

I expected more from Becker though, even though the last tie was a dead rubber he should beat Cilic, hopefully Kiefer will be fit for the quarter final.

I can't believe Rochus beat Davydenko.

Simon you're a genius. I stayed up and followed that game, and kept going "Far out, I should have listened to Simon!" throughout the 3rd set.

as long as you remember for next time :p

good win fo Haas against Rochus this morning, 49 minutes to beat him 60 62. Will have a fairly easy match against this no name called Federer in the Semi's.

Not much of a shock that Youzhny beat Nadal, Rafa is finished imo...

Still young though, its probably good for Nadal that he goes through a patch like this. Being worked out now allows him plenty of time to improve his game.

Amazing loss by Federer to Canas. He had many set points in the first set, didn't get them, then got broken and lost the first. I had to go to uni, and then I check the scores and see he's belted 6-2 in the 2nd and is out of Indian Wells. Amazing.

Safin and Hewitt are also out. Tournament is wide open now. I like Raph or Murray.

I'd say I like Haas' chances Simon, but he's up against the Basher, Teimuraz Gabashvili today... he's in trouble :p

Haas is giving him a fair flogging atm, serving for the match at 60 53.

He'll have Gonzo next in a repeat of the Aus Open semi, i like Haas' chances here, Gonzo hasnt dont anything since then and his form isnt great. Tommy is the form player on tour and id expect him to make it through to the quarters.

Gabashivili just gave him a chance tbh :p

By the way, I hate James Blake. Had $20 on a multi which would have paid me >$200, and he was the only one who lost, and cost me the money. He loses so many ****ty matches that he shouldn't, can't see him ever winning a Slam.

i was cheering he lost, defending points from making the final last year, he's going to fall out of the top 10 next week in all likelyhood.

I'm guessing Murray will be moving up to the top 10 soon - looking at his points he's defending, there's not a lot from now till Wimbledon.

Tommy Haas you little beauty! Absolutely creamed Gonzalez in a rematch from the Aus Open semi-final, can only imagine the look on Simon's face atm. He'd be a happy man :p

Tommy was the last in my multi bet of Djokovic to win in straight sets against Julien Benneteau, Na Li to beat Zvonareva, Ferrer to beat Moya, Murray to beat Davydenko and Kenya to beat Canada when they were paying 1.40 during the match :D

Tommy Haas > James Blake, delivers when I need him to win me a large multi :D

tommy was outstanding, really didnt give gonzo a chance, really again shows just what a lost oppourtunity the Aus Open was for him.

pretty amazing really, i dont know what to think of it, Canas is definitely a good player but i dont see how he could have beaten federer twice in a row like that, tbh i think Feds form is just down a little and Canas has been in the right place at the right time a couple of times.

Looks like Nadal will probably win the tournament from here...
