End of Over 34: 146-3, runrate=4.29
Verma 7-1-19-1
Tomlinson* 2 (10 balls)
Banks 59 (85 balls)
Last Wicket: Nosworth b. Verma 68 (FOW: 139/3)

decent, green pitch, and won the toss and decided to bat for a change...openers fell cheaply, pity...
should score more quickly though...

:D Pleased with that Win tbh. Moreso for the fact that neither Stroud nor Meyer played a major part. Verhoeven (4-34), Savage (4-28), Appleyard (92) & Ludlow (78) won it for me.

Good match. My ratings were OK but I was never going to win on a H+F with three bowlers missing.
Shocked tbh especially with an repectable batsmen scoring 93 runs and well holding our innings together, so my strong/superb could have a crack at the other end. I doubt i would have come even close against a full strength side. But a batting line of 2 wonderfuls, 2 superb and proficient is still quite handy. Also to keep a wonderful/proficient bowler to just to two wickets is fair effort, when my best batsmen are superb. But a win is a win, very happy with the boys.

Thanks for the match Adam gave me a chance to see how my boys would fair against a similar batting line up to SP and bowling attack to Jamee, well probably better on both accounts but still decent hit out.

How close is this guy to popping in secondaries and/or his primary?

Greg Ferrell - 17 yo, BT Rating=7,895

Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: woeful

He's going to be on 2 nets but thinking it'll take him about 1.5 seasons to get up to superb?

Well even with training none if them will be that great TBH. By the time you get Ricketts' cons up the gap between his primaries and secondaries will be too great. He will always perform like a player one or two levels below. Even if Rigby and Wilkshere pop by the end of the season, they best they will be superb and even that will take about three seasons to get to that level.

IMO i reckon your better off to keep training Hogg and getting in a new bowling traineee when you finished with Hook and Bertos.

Still don't understand why you don't give Bertos a batting net.
Because i figure that hes already good enough to play in higher divisions but i need others to be good enough as well or else im basically having all my eggs in one basket.

You only lose about three weeks training on Mills, if he has just one batting net. Won't make much difference in the long run, if you have him on one or two nets really. Unless your going to try and get Mills up to say remarkable you only need one net. Same for Ricketts really.

For those who think you need 6 odd nets to produce a good all rounder. This guy only ever had one batting and bowling net, plus the odd fielding and stamina net at the start.

bidding on rich has reached 1.94mil, with just over an hour to go. it would appear that there is 3, potentially 4 sides interested in signing him. so hopefully the bidding go up up up. whoa yeah. it'd be nice to make a 1mil profit on him for the 6 weeks i owned him.

Anyone think its worth giving Bertos 2 batting nets?
His 21 so its about 10 weeks on two nets, or 14 on one net. Two nets IMO don't make much difference unless a player is 17yo or your pushing for U19s or NT. Mind you if you want him to pop two more times, then two nets is probably the way to go, as he wouldn't be that far from the national team.
