Looks like the pitches are crap, as I said. They don't seem to be good international standard pitches.

There's no doubting that I'm as patriotic as they come. But I generally don't really make excuses (see Ashes forum). I didn't even really ramble on when we won the CB series and wasn't here for the 05 Ashes. And anyway, what you say has no relevance to my post, at all. Grow up.

Usually they use a cover version because the originals don't want their version used in an ad but don't mind a cover...or just to modernise a little I guess

What, The Turtles didn't want their version used in the ad? Odd, given that NPower used to use the Turtles version at Test grounds all the time, and somewhere else that I can't recall.

Been mostly luck today. Bowled utter tripe for most of the time he was bowling, however he has sent down a few good balls.

Let's not hail the return of the WI pace quartet just yet. A bit of luck for our bowlers, but there is nothing wrong with taking what you're given. Dhoni was real good though behind the stumps, which is heartening for me.
