Demeza Speaks Out

Controversial pacemen, Travis Demeza, spoke to the public today as he was interrupted during his relaxing game of lawn bowls at elde park today.
"Yeah, mate. I'm blue through and through, i'm entirely up for a long deal with the CW Blue club and administration, hey. You see, they are they only team worth playing for, if you ask me. Other teams all suffer from playing certain players that I would rather retire than play with.
Us blue's have Ad's (Collins), Pete (Young).... did you know Pete scored so many runs in the off season in England that the English are after him to replace Strauss? Serious, mate .... Ben (Wilshere), Alex (Crampton) and people who debut'ed in the same season who have grown in stature in Dinu (De Silva), Matt (Currie) and unfortunately Sean (Fuller). That guy always got to me, hey. Sure we are great mates on and off the field .... but he eats far too much pasta (high in carbs) and bowls down leg side too often.

Point is, us Blue's are here to win this year .... we lost expendable people such as Nath (Patrick) and Andy (Cloete) who'se ego's far surpass their ability. It's a shame we lost Tom (Halsey) though, that guy has far more talent than Neil Pickup."

When questioned about his own ability, averaging just short of 30 with the ball and a horrible batting average of just above one, Demeza simply replied "Listen pal, look at my strike rate. I've taken more wickets than any other bowler in a short period of time. I'm the 8th leading first class wicket taker in the history of cricket web cricket. Why do you people with your pens and paper always critisize my ability?"

The last laugh was made by a member of the press, though, as Demeza took his last roll of his lawn bowl a comment of "NO FUTURE" was made, ensuring Demeza roll off the green.

Demeza's Management Come to the Front

No comment will be issued by CW Blue management regarding Demeza's constant sniffing and twitching during his interview.
Espan Yol, Travis Demeza's personal manager, spoke to the public in regards to Sean Fuller's comment, "Travis would like to tell the public that he has no prior knowledge to anything that his great mate, Sean, said previously. He denies any comment of sniffing nor twitching during his game of bowls, and if there was any of the afore mentioned he would like to point out that it was simply down to nerves of the game."

Espan Yol later went on to point out to the public that Travis and Sean were scheduled for a peaceful game of chess later on that night and that Travis had a new trick up his sleeve.
