That's probably why that extra set of brackets with another 5 points is there, unless you're telling me he costs 15 points.
Tbh, the post was initially to point out signing on of 5 contracted [4 cc + 1 sc] players. Then I realized that 5 contracted players is allowed with the option. Needless to say, I edited it swiftly to make the post worth something at all.

Colts sign big names

Colts are happy to advise that they have gained the services of the following players:

Chris Butler (3 Years, A Level Contract)
Simon Fitzsimmons (1 Year, A Level Contract)
Shan Jasotharan (5 Years, B Level Contract)
Arunava Das (3 Years, B Level Contract)

Both Butler and Fitzsimmons have been signed by rival clubs while Jasotharan and Das resume their promising careers with the Colts. Captain Kyle Wright said that by signing these 4 players the Colts' batting line up will be a strong one. "I don't think there's any doubt that we need to improve our batting, as our bowling line-up is of International standard, and these four players will hopefully allow us to put plenty of runs on the board to give a bowlers a lot more chances this season."

Red secure first signing

Veteran batsman-wicketkeeper Jamee Gray, with a number of CW teams on his first class CV, has agreed to a two-year deal with the Reds at a C Level contract. The journeyman of CWLand is a hot favourite to take the one-day gloves this season, and will be a key member of the squad during international tours after Thamba Mamesh jumped ship last year.

Robbins and rookies pledge Red future

In Red's first true big-name signing of the season, Cricket Web Red spokesman Erik Raude confirmed that Marc Robbins, a veteran of 92 international caps, have agreed to a five-season B-level contract for the Reds. The Red stalwart and former captain looks set to play for the club until retirement.

Raude also stated that last season rookies Manjunath Reddlapalli and Matt Luff have both agreed to two-year C Level deals. Both will be regarded as key cogs as the Red side chase runs in the coming first-class season.

You'll Never Walk Alone
After a whirlwind season XI where he walked out on his beloved CW Blue after some off-field incidents and ended up at Colts, the club where he played out the back end of the season, Nath Patrick today signed on for 2 years with CW Black. Captain Dan Smith was heard uttering under his breath "such beautiful golden locks" as he left the press conference.

NL Patrick (CW Black - 2 years) [B - 4 points]
Signature - AP Chaulk.

Can`t wait.
