in over 100 matches he averages 50odd there

Liar, in many posts i have supported Pakistan team (read my post where i have defended Asif in his drug take).

As for WahIndia, ur obsession with him is remarkable, not to forget the BLE, Lbe etc

I think people are seriously under-rating Pak here. One of the main reasons Pakistan ODI performance has been inconsistent lately is due to lack of form for major players like Inzi, Rana, Afridi, Akmal. If these guys can get in to some sort of form then a SF birth is quite possible.

They have all the reasons to rubbish off Pakistan's chances.The absence of those 3 players will hurt Pakistan, but the main reason which i think will lead to Pakistan downfall are some unfortunate circumstances.All the controversies, uncertainties linked with Pakistan team is likely to effect the team adversly.

IF Inzi is somehow able to lift the morale of the team and is able to unite them and make them fight (like they did in India without Ahtar and Asif) and if Pakistan get the help of Akram or Donald to help their inexperianced fasts bowlers in WC, then maybe Pakistan will surprise alot of people.

I would say its the Asif's loss that is greatest.

Lets face is Akhtar may be explosive bowler but was never going to last the entire WC , and would have broken down in middle of competition.Razzak is an ordinary bowler, however his explosive batting is something that will be missed most.But then i think in Azhar Mahmood Pakistan have a very capable replacement.The only think is that i haven't seen Mahmood batting in years so i'm not sure if he's still as good as he use to be.

I still feel that Pakistan should have gone with Rehman instaed of Sami.
