Because it's nonsense. England have been Australia's main opposition in meaningful cricket over the past 2-4 years. WI won the CT not too long ago and were the only team to beat Australia in the last one. Australia knows or should know that on the right day England and WI will beat them. That puts them up there with anyone as far as 'big threats' to Australia go.

Anyways how is it a Blip when England have won 6 out of 15 ODIs they have played against Australia since the world cup 2003 ? Not to forget that Australia have won 7, one was washed out and the other was tied.

even after the blip of 3 cosective loss they could nt chage the trend..still 6 out of 15.

And australia are 7 out of 15...If you look at their overall record England have won 37, Australia 51 .Hardly looks like a blip to me. But I guess you dont have the brains to notice that.

Umm..Not really as far as the World Cup goes..India have a clean record. In the Indo/Pak rivalry..Despite Pak being the much better team majority of the time, they have always choked against us in the WC games and more importantly India have always remained highly competitive when it comes to playing Pak.

Pakistan would surely be out of Hussey's top 4 dangerous teams list now, since both Akthar and Asif are out of the tournament. Pakistan would do very well if they even win a single game in the Super 8's stage.

Even if they loses Gul and Naveed, they will still in all possibility win atleast one game in super 8 stage.This is OD matches we are talking about and not test matches, losing two important player do rule their chances of winning the cup but it doesn't mean they can't win a single game.

NOTE:- Pakistan defeated India in OD series with bowling attack that didn't had Akhtar and Asif, i'm not expecting that to happen again, but just pointing out that even without those two tehy can still compete to some extent.
