BREAKING NEWS: Hair removed from the Elite Panel

Racial discrimination was always going to be difficult to prove in a court of law despite the ridiculous statements of some associated with Pakistani cricket.

Given that he is still employed by the ICC, and without knowing the details of his claim, I'd have to question the merits of his unfair dismissal case as well.

However, there's little doubt that his standing is affected by discrimination and the ICC would be better served by paying out his contract

I sympathise with Hair because political manouvering has seen him removed from the elite umpires panel despite being statictically amongst the best

I do not sympathise with:

a. people that bring frivolous lawsuits; or

b. administrators that attempt to alleviate responsibility for their own country's actions by shifting the blame elsewhere

Not that his decision had anything to do with the PCB, mind you

It was a ****-up on behalf of himself and his lawyers

Or perhaps, he made a fool out of himself once again, like countless other times!

Asking for 500,000 USD from ICC then retracting it, filing law suit against PCB only to retract it a couple of days later shows the mind of a deranged person.Thank God such a person is not officiating world cup matches!

Yep I'd rather have total incompetents like Doctrove and Koertzen officiating in matches where drug cheats opened the bowling!

Oh wait, that's actually going to happen 8-)

What has drug cheats to do with Hair's crime ??? Would hair have been able to do anything had drug cheats opening the bowling in WC? if no, then whats the point of mentioning?

Not that i like incompetent umpire, but b/w the two, i would prefer an umpire who suffer from poor judgement, over an umpire with a good judgement but one who is baised against Asian teams, who happen to have tried to bribed the ICC, and who has an history of making a *tamasha* on big occasion, probably the jerk thrives on one!

Any other completely unrelated points you'd like to make? Like the no ball rule was changed to front foot and then Wasim Akram came and ruined cricket by ball tampering.

Unfortunately, it just goes to show the skewed priorities of the ICC

Whatever it takes!!!

It has always been skewed. Its just that earlier it was skewed in one direction and no one made any noise about it and now it is skewed in the other direction and the ones who were used to it being skewed their way are letting it be known that they aren't happy with it.
