A fortnight on Monday will determine pretty much the rest of my year and what I can and can't do...

Have emailed the Worcester Cricket League tonight to see if they can give me some ideas on finding a host. Will get that sorted before too long, don't you worry!

Secondly... kit. Do we want to get a "Cricket Web XI" kit put together or just play in random whites?

I ask as Surridge Sport are selling 2005 design white and coloured shirts at dirt-cheap prices (£2.95/£5.11+VAT) - and it would look pretty damn good...

Boundary Sports also have a full range of inexpensive kit.

I vote whites myself...

Was just going to dig this thread up tonight and say "Pickup had better get on with things and organise something sharp otherwise Dickinson will take command of the operation and matters into his own hands".

Whites - The whites look cheap enough but once you start putting a badge and stuff on the price goes up a fair bit.

Not sure at this stage where I will be, I am looking at heading to the South, haven't played a game of cricket in a while either. Will have to get cracking on that this weekend.

I'd probably go for the whites, wouldn't bother with an emblem though as it adds a tenner onto the price from Boundary.

Could just get the whites then get some badges made for people to attach themselves. We'd have to get 15 of the whites from Surridge though, and I don't mind buying them but I sure ain't sowing all the badges on and transporting 15 shirts plus my kit would be a pain in the rectum with no car.

To be painfully honest, most of us arent good enough to be playing in a coloured uniform :laugh: I'll be playing in my Rhodes University kit because I cant be bothered to buy another set of whites for one game
