KP's technique is a bit strange.
There was a player called Ken Barnett who played for Lancashire i think who used to bat about half a foot outside leg stump then move across as the bowler bowled.
Ahem.Barnett played for Gloucs, too, y'know... formed a hell of a useful opening combo with Hancock in ODers...
And was also for 15 years (until Ed Smith in 2003, Andrew Strauss and Ian Bell in 2004 and Alastair Cook and Owais Shah in 2005\06) the last right-handed specialist batsman to make 50 on Test debut for England.
BTW, Chanderpaul had a short time when he was virtually a left-handed Peter Willey.
