Into summer of 2014, guided Cuidad Murcia into La Liga and Milan came in for me.

Since for some reason Ciudad have never given me a proper contract, and Milan were offering me about £40k a week, I've moved.

Just concentrating on the World Cup then will make some purchases...
What divison were Cuidad Murcia in?

Took them over in the equivalent of the 3rd tier.

First season promoted then 2 years in the 2nd IIRC before promotion to La Liga.

Its been a bizarre couple of seasons.

Took over Southampton in the Championship. 1st season I had a good run at the title but finished 3rd and lost out in the playoff final.

Then starting the 2nd season I made a common mistake. The Board expected us to win the league and I had a fair bit of wages available. I stupidly used it on some older and experienced players to bolster the squad. Guys like Hedman, Litmanen, Sibierski amongst others. Now because they were on good wages I felt like I had to play them.

After 25 games I was in 21st spot. Thats an issue when you are expected to win the league and your wages have actually began to spiral out of control.

Anyway, I decided if I was going to go down in flames then I would do it whilst developing young players. All the older players were dropped to the reserves and I blooded the young 'uns.

To cut a long story short, we went on a run and just missed out of the play-offs and finished 8th.

Now I was fully expecting the sack as I was way below the boards expectations.

Throughout the whole of Euro 2008 I was expecting the chop. Then the funniest thing happened.....

Southampton didnt sack me and England offered me the National job :)

Season 3 has started well and Im still using the young guys (have 5 Brazilians in the squad though) and hoping I can succeed with Southampton and England

I'm getting pissed with Kidderminster. After 3 seasons in the Premiership, we've finished 6th, 7th and 7th. The last 7th would have been 4th if we hadn't thrown away 4 points in the last 2 games by letting in last minute goals.

This season, i've spent 18Mil on players and we had a dire start and only now am i clawing them back up. Problem this season seems to be draws, lots and lots of draws. Am looking abroad for a job in Germany tbh, after 9 seasons, it's time for a new challenge really.

That's brilliant for Kidderminster.

Northwich Vic board really beginning to piss me off. In my second season in the Prem they want a respectable league position just because I attained it last time. Probably won't be able to get a mid-table finish again, looking at my current squad.

End of the season, managed to scrape them up to 7th....again and managed to win the UEFA cup.

After the WC Steve Bruce was sacked from the England job, so i applied and got that. Then i saw Celtic needed a manager, so i applied and got that too. Time for a fresh start.

About a quarter of the way through my first season with Spartak IF in the Ukrainian First League (2nd Tier, below the High League) and we're currently sitting 8th which is a little higher than expected.

The biggest challenge for me will be the next 3/4 games where i play against 3 of the current top 4 which are 7-10 points ahead of me. Dinamo 2- Kiev thrased me 4-1 in a pre-season friendly, so i'm hoping to improve on that record somewhat, and another of the top 4 teams has a +28 goal difference after 11 games so they'll be hard to stop

Was a good season, won the Scots Prem easily enough as well as the Scottish League Cup. Reached the final of the Scottish FA Cup but lost to Hearts, high point of the season was getting to the final of the Champions League. Lost to Barcelona 2-1 though, but they've reached the final 5 years in a row and are clearly the dominate force in Europe.

Reputation has flown through the roof, tempted to build up some random team in Germany.

Playing FM06 and as Tottemham I'm in 6th spot, I knocked Chelsea out but lost on penalties to Bolton. Sent Mido back to Roma as he is useless and sold Teemu Taino to Real Betis after buying Javier Mascherano and I have Freddy Gurian (sp) coming in, plus some other good young players as well. I'll probably sell Edgar Davids instead. I also got rid of Lee Young-Pyo since I have Fabio Grosso and Paul Slateri who can play at left back.

Just finished my first season with Daegu Fc in Korea. Managed to win the league, the league cup and the FA cup. Have been entered into the Asian Champions league, and am currently first in my group.

Bought a brazilian teenager, 'Junior', (17) and he scored 18 goals in his first seaon. Managed to get Carlo Cudicini, for £1m, but he had been dropped down the pecking order at Chelsea, Below Cech and Robinson, who Chelsea paid £19m for.
