The entire point i am trying to make is that whether lives will be risked if i am driving under influence is based on my level of tolerance, not some generic 'one reading for all' breathelyzer test.So while your friends may be ok with risking their lives while letting you drive under the influence, I am not.
Yes. And the silver lining is that many know their limit and stick to it and never mess up becaue of their fault under influence. So it again, boils down to knowing the person and having personal responsibility. The sad reality is that people exceed that limit all the time and drive drunk.
I just think way too much is being made out of a breathalyzer test when in reality, if you ask cops who work the traffic scene, you'll find that the experienced ones base it almost totally on your awareness and level of cognition rather than your breathalyzer test. Simply coz, the cop realizes that the entire point of the rule is to make sure people don't drive when they are compromised and if a person knows his/her particular compromised level, its all fine.
Don't get into the 'could bes' while driving- it comes with risk anyways and nomatter what you do, the risk won't get down to zero. As long as people are driving within their limits, i don't care what the breathalyzer says.
