Won my game on PAN today. Knocked off 200+ without losing a wicket. Currently 3rd in my division after messing up earlier in the season with team selection and lsoing to the team who's first. Jsuging by my NRR I'll need to either improve it drastically or win every game for the rest of the season and hope my opponents each lose at least two games.

Oh and got 2mil in the bank looking to buy a pacer. I'll take a look at the market and if nothing suits my fancy I'll let the cash build up to around 4 or 5 mil and make a splash then. That new boler should complete my squad and help me to at least stay up in Div II if I get promoted this season.I certainly can't win Div II yet so hopefully I'll get some good YPs and stay competeitive for a season or two.

Adam can you tell us what Crawford is like for 5.3 mill he must be decent enough and wages of 17k!
He's wonderful/proficient, crap everywhere else. Should be close to popping given his wage, halfway at least. Pretty average for that sort of money really, but meh, not much more than Malik sold for. Pity I didn't get him a few hours earlier, might've been able to beat NorCricket instead of losing by 28 runs. Don't think I'll win the league this year thanks to the last two rounds, hopefully I can get somewhere in the cup though. In good news, Watkins and Whitehorne topping the league batting and bowling averages respectively (Watkins makes the bowling list as well).

Clegg is crap worse design player ever. The fact that he can't get into the NZ NT side says it all. Who ever trained him up at the start was wasting thier time putting bowling nets on him, he should have got more batting nets.

I seriously contemplated buying him a couple of seasons back (for around 1.3m). At that stage he had proficient batting, respectable bowling, strong keeping, superb stamina and both secondaries around phenomenal or so (IIRC). His wages were around 35k. I would've trained him in batting and bowling, but the guy who bought him trained his keeping, which was suicidal in terms of wages.

lost today after tony wheat scored 72 off 163 balls. somehow we still managed to make 245/4, largely thanks to waddells 70* off 48. however, on the flat pitch my bowlers took too long to make any inroads and the won by 4 wickets with 5 balls to spare. pretty annoyed tbh. we are 8 points off the lead. the leaders i can't really see remaining unbeaten, and i expect to beat them next time. they certainly aren't going to run away with precedings. i face the two easybeats, including one bot in the next round. so we'll be well placed at the half stage.

cup on monday, another game that we should be able to tie without too much bowling. my sides bowling at the moment is causing me a lot of room for concern. by mid next season it should be coming together.

i'm also planning on selling ian patterson as soon as he reaches superb bowling, (5 weeks away), and i intend on bringing in a kiwi 18yo to replace. i'm not pleased with the signing of patterson, but i'll be able to sell him on with a profit of about 1mil i'd expect. so for now i'm not too concerned.

and why am i online posting about battrick oat 10pm on saturday. the truth is, i'm not feeling too good :(

Hmm seems like the BatStats ratings don't weight top order over lower order etc. at all. So having a mediocre lower order and superb top order would actually be better than having a remarkable top order and woeful lower order as far as the BatStats ratings go, which is obviously wrong.

This team is one point ahead of me...

Parkway Sports
Top Order: quality
Middle Order: superb
Lower Order: mediocre
Seam Bowling: remarkable
Spin Bowling: strong
Fielding: competent

Scaly Piscine CC
Top Order: remarkable
Middle Order: strong
Lower Order: woeful

I know which set of ratings I'd rather have and it ain't the first set.

Would be mad if anyone of them stayed under but i get the feeling all will do over that range.

Also well done on your ranking SP, i guess your hard work is staying to pay off. Will be interesting to see how you finish off in the Cup.

Zero, zero and zero. :p

Middle one will obviously be the lowest, he might go for under 4m?
