Well, I've finally returned to the cricket action after sulking for 4 days after New Zealands choke on Tuesday and all I can say is hats off to England!! Even as a New Zealand fan, I must condede that England are probably the better side to play Australia in the finals since New Zealand are such famous chokers against Australia in close games.

I assume that if this game is washed out at this point, Australia's best chance will be to tie the 3 match series. Can anyone confirm this?

I'd rather we didn't lose any overs, but they aren't too bad. Pressure will be on a bit if it starts up again at over 6 an over, though.

Love to know what the odds were of England winning the tournament before their first win against Australia in the round robin.

I was surprised to see earlier the stat that said England has a superior winning record over Australia at the SCG in ODIs, so therefore England favourites?
