Interesting that the par score at 20 overs is only 83, with two down. That'll come pretty easily from here if England don't take more wickets.

Although all those matches WERE between 2004-2005. Since then he has tended to be bowled 1st or even 2nd change!
So I would still say that the chances of Oram opening the bowling are very slim.

EDIT: Also, overuse of 'dire' yet again.

EDIT 2: heavy rain here, its fricken pouring down like ****

Rain probably benefits England at this point. A reduction in overs will make the chase tougher and give less time to consolidate, but if they'd stayed on until 20 overs were up Australia probably would have been ahead.

Plus England can't lose the series if this game is washed out.
