Wise work from Nixon, best to get Dalrymple out so that someone who can hit the ball can come in
Seriously, do you change your opinion of Dalrymple every single game just to keep things interesting? It's gone up and down like a yoyo.

No it's always been down pretty low, it had a little upward spurt like a dead man's nerves on a flatline for about half a game but it's back down again now. Hardly a yo-yo

And the Pigeon takes a wicket with his last ball in Australia, ever. :D

Only 59/4 off the last 10overs by England. Shocking stuff. Only 3 FOURs in the last 10overs, and they were all the way back in the 41st, 42nd, and 43rd overs.

So you're pretty confident of an England win in this match, then?
8-)

You can never be confident of any England team, can you? Im just trying to be optimistic! Plus, i knew that one would get you Aussies in a tis.

Also, if Australia loses the CB series, and then goes on to lose the CH series 1-2, then it would be a great thing heading into the World Cup for all nations not named Australia

Australia should really chase this target. England will need a handful of early wickets really. A bit short of a good score.

I doubt it'd make a huge difference really. Injuries and so on would, but I don't think losing this match and a series against NZ with a depleted side would make a huge difference to how Australia play in the world cup.

Got an inkling that England will pull this one off too.

Probably already been discussed, but if Gilchrist fails again here and then Haddin makes a few runs in CH series, that'd make things very interesting.

Nah, it wouldn't really. The only way Gilchrist won't get picked in the World Cup is if he can't walk.
