No. He was good at CM 01/02 because he knew the game so well and bought the right players and stuff and then was good in the other FM's. He was never good tactically and basically felt tactics had no effect, which was false. Though the effect of them was not as much as you'd expect. Whereas in FM 07 tactics play a ridiuclously crucial role. It's probably over done a bit though IMO. But for someone like SImon he's always going to struggle in a much more tactically demanding game

running away with the premiership with arsenal having won the league cup and still in the champions league and FA cup, having made only 3 signings, Micah Richards, Igor Akinfeev and Yohann Gourcuff, a little too easy at the moment for my liking, but then thats not helped by the stupid AI of other teams like chelsea who buy strange players like abubakari yakubu :s

My current game on FM7:started with Man City in the first season got into 6th place and secured a Europe Place my only signing of the season Clint Dempsey wins signing of the year Samaras was an absolute gungetting 20+ goals in about 18 games current season (2007/08) i signed Srna but he is with an affiliate because he needs a work permit but he is unhappy because he cant play so im just like sckrew u My forwards (Coradi, Samaras and Studdrige) are being absolute guns so far but we are only in 11th place

Currently first with Man Utd in my first season on FM07. Into the CL semis but got knocked out of the FA Cup at the quarters and the LC at 3rd Rd.Bought quite a few playesr through selling some and my transfer budget. Got Torres, Gago and van der Vaart. Bought Sheringham and also, loaned in Maldini to provide cover after the sales of Evra and Saha and the loan of Silvestre. Carrick and Neville are injured until the end of the season with the CL semis and around 6 league games left. Had to bring Gago back from loan to Porto. Now we're in the business end of the season and Gago, Brown and O'Shea will hopefully provide adequate backup.

Into summer of 2014, guided Cuidad Murcia into La Liga and Milan came in for me.
Since for some reason Ciudad have never given me a proper contract, and Milan were offering me about £40k a week, I've moved.
Just concentrating on the World Cup then will make some purchases...

I'm still struggling with lowly Nothwich Vic unfortunately. Got into League 1 from Conference North then had a stinker of a season, getting relegated with about 20 points. Now on my second attempt to get back into League 1, after losing in the playoff final last year.
