Git. Bangladesh 153 all out - Rafique 41. Defendable with a start especially if, as it seems, it's a tricky track.
 Bangladesh will be terribly disappointed at being bowled out, they really need Mashrafe and Shadhadat to fire with the new ball and they can't afford the part timers to concede too many.

Whatever happens today, it is definitely a wake up call for Bangladesh ahead to World Cup Cricket. Players and team management should sit together and try to find out, what went horribly wrong? Another series loss to Zimbabwe would mean Bangladesh has achieved almost nothing in last one year.

Top stuff from Gary and Vusi, who is really starting to fulfill some of his talent, he's certainly pushing Taylor for the title of Best Batsman Left in Zimbabwe.

Poor stuff from Bangladesh really. The batting has appeared to be fairly solid recently, even against some of the stronger nations (Sri Lanka in the Champions Trophy), so to be blown away like that isn't a good sign. I assume Tamim Iqbal has to play the final two ODIs now, since Mehrab hasn't cut it yet in international cricket. I think it showed how one-dimensional the bowling is as well - without enough runs on the board to defend, the spinners can't choke the opposition.

Especially since Taylor doesn't always get picked for some odd reason...

Tamim Iqbal looks set to start tomorrow as Mehrab Hossain jnr has been dropped from the squad. Mohammad Rafique is definitely out with a bruised nose following a collision with Vusi Sibanda on Tuesday.

1 Shahriar Nafees 2 Tamim Iqbal 3 Aftab Ahmed 4 Saqibul Hasan 5 Habibul Bashar (c) 6 Mohammad Ashraful 7 Mushfiqur Rahim (wk) 8 Mashrafe Mortaza 9 Mohammad Sharif 10 Abdur Razzak 11 Tapash Baisya

Bangladesh 37-3 after 10 overs.

Tamim, Aftab and Saqibul all gone. Shahriar Nafees is still there on 20, currently batting with Mushfiqur Rahim.

8-)
Come on Zimbabwe.

Also does anyone know what's happened to Ed Rainsford, cause I quite liked the look of him. Injured?

Just isn't getting picked at the moment. Ridiculous decision really, but not at all surprising.
It is, looked head and shoulders Zimbabwe's best seamer. Hopefully his a dead cert for the World Cup and the selectors are just trying out a couple of other guys before the West Indies. Though as you say it’s Zimbabwe so who knows.

Hah...just now noticed that the thread title is the wrong way round

Any updates on the score?

Goddamn it we should have won that match- the tail showed no fight at all, they all talk about how they are supposed to be "allrounders" but when they got the chance to show it they threw it away. More runs from Vusi though- he's proved me wrong about him, I always used to have a go at him.

Here's match report from my blog

Bangladesh continue to struggle? A hard fought win put them 2-1 ahead in the series

Bangladesh finally won the 3rd ODI of the Croco Motors Series by 14 runs and lead the series 2-1. It was a hard fought win for the tigers after a poor display with the bat. In response to a Bangladesh's modest total of 228/9, Zimbabwe looked cruising for victory but slipped due to a middle order collapse. After an opening stand of 91 between impressive looking Vusi Sibanda and Terry Duffin, Zimbabwe looked set for yet another win at 202/5 with Elton Chigumbura and Keith Dabengwa playing sensibly. From that point, everything went Bangladesh's way as the last 5 wickets of Zimbabwean innings fell for just 12 runs. Bangladesh showed impressive performance in the field as four Zimbabwe batsmen were run out.

Earlier, Zimbabwe won the toss and sent Bangladesh to bat. New boy Tamim Iqbal failed to seize the opportunity and scored only 5 before getting out. Aftab Ahmed fell shortly and suddenly Bangladesh was reduced to 36/3. Team management sent Mushfiqur Rahim ahead of Habibul Bashar and Mohammad Ashraful to start reconstruction. Mushfiq paid the faith in style. He along with Shariar Nafees shared a 100 run partnership and Bangladesh recovered to 136/3.

When things looked good and Bangladesh was set for a big total, they suffered yet another middle order disintegration and found themselves struggling at 163/6 in 40.5 overs. After a brief rain stop Bangladesh's misery continued and Zimbabwe bowlers plucked wickets at regular intervals. Some late strike from two opening bowlers Mashrafee Mortaza (29) and Tapash Baisya (28*) added some sort of respectability to Bangladesh's total. They finally finished the innings scoring 228/9 from 50 overs. Shahriar Nafees top scored with 69 runs while Mushfiqur Rahim added invaluable 42 runs.

Continuous failure of Mohammad Ashraful in the middle order is a huge concern for Bangladesh as world cup is within sight. Bangladesh's batting order is showing its familiar faces and this can cost us badly in the Caribbeans.

Despite todays win, Bangladesh has not fully recovered from last ODI's debacle. Now, Bangladesh must establish their domination by winning the final ODI in style to get back the lost confidence.

What? We lost?

Oooo... cricinfo should die a horrible, horrible death. They had us having won the game at one stage! (Although I did think it was strange that we were all out despite being 4 runs clear of Bangladesh's score..).

Zimbabwe made 244-8, with fifties from Chibhabha and Williams and an unbeaten 77 from Chigumbura. The Bangladeshi seamers got massacred again. Bangladesh are 42-2 after nine overs in reply, Tamim Iqbal has just gone for a quickfire 30 from 32, including two sixes. Rahim in at three.

Bangladesh finally won the match by 1 wicket. They were comfortably placed with 8 runs reqd. from 6 overs with 5 wickets remaining and collapsed to see 3 runs reqd. with 1 wicket remaining.

Finally won.

This is the most comical performance I have ever seen from any international side. This proves Bangladesh is still a long way to mature as a cricket team. This win adds nothing to the credit of Bangladesh. A bunch of chockers. Well done Zimbabwe. This series clearly shows the improvement of Zimbabwe and decline of Bangladesh.
