Because he bowled rubbish on Friday?Mitch having a really bad day with ball, can't really understand why bracken has been rested on such a track.

Got the wickets right, overestimated the runs a little though. 3/204.Just to stick my neck out a little more, from 1/154 after 30.
3/211 after 40
8/284 after 50.
I don't think that has anything to do with it, personally. It's a rotation policy and a dead rubber. Bracken has to be rested somewhere. And I doubt his performance in the last game or the nature of this wicket led the the decision to rest him for this one. It was probably made well in advance.Because he bowled rubbish on Friday?
Jake!!!!Clarke!!!!
Hasn't he already been rested before?I don't think that has anything to do with it, personally. It's a rotation policy and a dead rubber. Bracken has to be rested somewhere. Now Styris has to just go for it, if he gets OUT then McCullum is inI'm not unhappy with Taylor getting out tbh. Styris + Oram can hit well, but neither has the running ability of Mccullum.
A bit harsh but yeah he might need to try and curb that compulsion he has to slog across the line.Really poor effort by Taylor. 20 off 30 balls considering at what stage he was batting was a dreadful bit of batting. Might have single handedly cost us 300.
Yeah, but it's not just a one-off rest, it's a rotation policy. None of the seamers have played more than a couple of games in succession at any point in the series, and Bracken is a certainty for the finals and played the last match, so he got a rest today. Same with McGrath.Hasn't he already been rested before?
