I must say, an excellent innings from Vincent after the whole 'drama' last week. Put his money where his mouth is, so to speak, and I respect that.

That was a brilliant ball.
But a shocker of a shot, shouldnt have been playing across the line there.

He should have been content to just see off Tait.

Oh well, they have set it up for Taylor, Styris, Oram, McCullum quiet nicely here.

Shame he didnt get the ton though

Darn. I really hoped he'd push on for a good score - he really could've got 120+.

Well, at least there's some better hitters coming in now, with time to get their eye in.

Taylor needs to pick up the pace now.

Well Tait has bowled all on that spot for that wicket, but its crazy that he has been bowled out at this stage.

So as i said the last time, Tait unpredictably is that he can bowl like the other day & produce a spell like this one. The only way i see him going to the WC is if the selectors & Ponting feel the death bowling is a serious problem. I think it has been for a while but because Australia are so bloody excellent in other area's it usually goes unnoticed.

Only McGrath can be counted on to bowl well at the death consistently, Lee & Bracken are very inconsistent in that area & that go be in Tait's favour, so if he is picked i won't be surprised TBH.

Well done Lou. A fine innings, undone by a brilliant delivery.

Hoping for a 300 score but I can see us falling to about 270.

Taylor is a slow starter. He will be up to a run a ball in no time

Fielding is really going to cost Australia today, when you take out the likes of symonds and hogg, you really start to notice how the extra runs can accumulate.

Mitch having a really bad day with ball, can't really understand why bracken has been rested on such a track.
