I think you should change it with that attitude. You're not statin' any fact, you are giving an opinion, which is a bit negative considering our last 2 performances, but it's your opinion which you are entitled to of course.

Eh, sorry. It just seems that our top order is looking pretty weak at the moment (besides Vincent and Taylor, though the latter is inconsistent). We are play O.K, but far too much of our games are falling onto the lower order to score runs IMO. Things are definitely on the up though - I reckon we can take the English and shut them out of the final.

They wont be naming the team until just before start of play but it has been suggested that Bond will be rested in one of the next 2 games. Scott Styris should be back and would probably bat at 4 meaning Fulton will probably miss out. That should improve the top order and Fleming is due to come back into form soon so that top order will be looking pretty good soon (I hope)

I always like to be positive, (Voltman says jingoistic), before any game. Can't quite see the point in supporting a team if you are going to write them off before play starts

I definitely want NZ to win with all my heart. It just so happens that the cold, logical part of me (which is probably 99.9%) would place all bets on Australia.

Australia have a better team, better players, better coaches, better first-class setup, better infrastructure, better averages, better strike rates, more world-class players, better 'keeper, better openers, more experience, better middle order, better bowlers overall...

They're just betterererer.

If you can't admit that statistically Australia are a better team, and therefore have a higher probability of winning, then maybe you should move to Australia. Increase the IQ of both countries, to repeat an old joke.

Yeah, it was great bowling for 3 balls. But we still continue to consistently lose games to Australia. And they're often games we could win, but we can't quite make it home.

I've lived here all my life and I've met very few people who fit that description. In fact, probably less than half of the Aucklanders I've met fit even one of those. I'm in the small percentage who do, boring is my middle name. No, not really. But it should be, maybe I'll change it.
