The ball went into the nixon's gloves as symo left it and before the ball was dead he started walking and nixon throwed at the stumps and missed them, then symo just whacked ball which was just lying on the pitch.

I reckon Symonds was stupid to hit the ball away when Nixon tried to run him out (I realise this happened a while ago, I was downstairs). Flintoff, Plunkett and England in general were well in their right to be pissed off with that considering the ball was still newish, and Symonds is lucky Nixon missed the stumps.

Anyway, that Clarke wicket was vital (what a catch by the skinless skull Nixon ) but with Hussey still in the shed, Australia can still win this. But there's something about England today, they're looking good.
