Aren't USA best in the world? And aren't we suposed to be dire?
Nah, Germany are World and European champions. USA are ranked 2. We are pretty dire, but we're improving. Qualified for this year's World Cup unbeaten and ahead of France.

Pfft, Mansfield held their own against Portsmouth earlier this season when they were actually top of the Premiership and they're in League Two.

Seeing all the fuss over over Stuart Pearce being appointed the England u-21 manager and being gvien the job so early in his managerial job, could this indicate he could be top of the list to replace you-know-you who currently manages England?

Nah, too close to the potential birth to leave Mandi alone. Oldham would mean a load of ale also, not a good plan like I say, so close to the possible birth.

Nonetheless, I'd be up for a bet? Even though I don't rate our chances, my Hussey bet expires next week.

So how about

we win I choose a TRFC player for your avatar
and vice versa

up for it?

Rachel and the girls held the World and European champions Germany to a 0-0 draw this morning, just 3 months after losing 5-1 to the same opposition. Still finished bottom, though. USA beat China 2-0 to win the thing.

The good news - Stern John's gone.

The bad news our best defender/captain and mose combative midfielder have been dropped for fighting on the training ground - down to 1 centre half and he's injured IIRC.

must say Real are very crazy to think they can get Ronaldo next season, haha. Why would a player after presumably coming off a very successfull season want to suddenly change clubs.

Oh yes, Rachel. The main reason why women's football is shown on TV in this country.

Let's make it a month

I can't change mine til Monday anyway, bound by the Ts&Cs of my Ashes bet. It's a deal then.

And the other Ronaldo is now a Milan player. Expect to him to cop crap for the next 18 months from Inter fans :D Given Inter's recent track record of giving has-been strikers I am happy that Milan have. Should be a great signing :p

Saw on Europort news this morning before I left for work that Charlton have denied reports of a possible 18m pound bid from West Ham for Darren Bent. I mean WTF, very few players IMO are worth that, and for that amount of money they could buy several strikers for that amount of money and would make him worth as much Zlaten Ibrahimovic as well and frankly Ibra > Bent IMO.

Brumby might know (or not) that if Ipswich have a sell-on fee, because if Bent was sold for that amount of money, I guess Ipswich would be laughing all the way to the bank. I mean WTF

He does & they do. An Ipswich supporting chum of mine reckons Town would get £3m out of an £18m deal.

Silly money, but suffice to say he'd be chuffed.
