Ffs Nine, noone cares about TV game show wars.
Yeah.

The TV shows they promote has to be one of the more annoying/cringeworthy things. Oram opening up here. 4 overs left at run a ball will give them 287, so should get close to 300.

Oh **** you nine, 4 overs to go and you swtich to the news :@

The worst thing ACA said was "Last night 1 vs 100 trounced The Rich List"

Wow, which show do you reckon aired on Channel 9, the channel ACA is on.

Can't belive the number of extras - it's like the SL series all over again. How on earth does an offspinner send down 4 in as many overs ffs? Presumably NZ are home & dry, fwiw.

just crashing at my sisters in Stanmore at the moment. Going to Melbourne on friday for a bit but will probably come back to Sydney for longer after. Was up at Manly today trying to get rid of the pasty complexion
Am about a five minute drive from Manly tbh. Top beach. And yeah, get used to Channel Nine being this bad. Maybe catch a bit of A Current Affair too, great show.

haha Oram, what a gun... hope he takes a bag, deserves MOTM for that innings alone though. Becoming my favourite NZ player now due to Flemings direness this series.

Wouldn't it make sense for Channel Nine to show the rest of the innings live, and then show us the highlights in the innings break?

Don't expect anything from Oram. Has scored 5 fifties in a 90 match career. 2 of those fifites have been in the last 2 matches. Law of averages says he won't do amazingly well in this match.

Anyway, brilliant stuff from Jake. He's not far off from being the form batsman of the tournament and he's only played in half of it.

It's not over till England finish their innings but it's a big ask.

If NZ have a few games with this team:

Vincent
Fleming
Fulton
Taylor
Styris
Oram
McCullum
Vettori
Mills
Bond
Gillespie

Finals series could be interesting (providing we get there)

You gotta feel for England. NZ added 100 runs in the last 10 overs, almost 50 of those in just the last 3. I feel sorry for Tremlett and Plunkett: that's a cruel introduction to international cricket. Ball slipping through the fingers, ineffective dives...it's almost like India had taken over the fielding.

I would've said around the 50-over mark that England looked in ok touch and could have a chance in on the chase, but now the game looks all but over. Without Pietersen, England are gonna need a miracle.

Styris replaces Marshalll

I would like to see J. Marshall bought into the team for McMillan if Fulton cements his place in the team. Right now a specialist fielder is an important role in a squad.

Anyway, Oram = King. I thought NZ tried to score 340+ from about the 35th over and almost paid the price for going too early. Hopefully we have learnt our lesson and are more patient in future innings.
