Interesting to see how much higher in BTR your players are than mine, despite mine having the better primaries (generally) - Summers excepted, of course:

Code:
Player Age BTR Batting Bowling WK
[B]SCALY'S[/B]
Summers 22 141772 worthless exquisite
Armstrong+ 21 91641 superb strong
Preece 21 89065 proficient proficient
Wheat 21 65698 strong
Dillon 21 56453 strong strong
Packer 24 29019 superb
Pace* 22 23537 feeble remarkable
[B]MINE[/B]
Sandwith 64767 wonderful
Reed 48528 wonderful
John 46633 wonderful
Brooker 37364 quality
Hirst 37119 quality
Gibb 27933 superb
Gonasilan 19171 feeble strong
Of course, more of yours are multi-skilled.

Mine generally have secondaries no better than their primaries, with a distinct lack of fielding (feeb/mediocre) and stamina (comp/resp).

Well the obvious thing is to sell one of the spinners. I'd try and train Shoe tho, at least til he pops in something (he's nearly halfway up the wage range - so with one bat & bowl he could take 7 weeks to pop on both, or one could pop in two weeks and the other in 13 weeks or something in between) you don't want to waste some of the sublevels by selling him as is. Guess it all depends on what nets you can spare.
Ditto.

Shoe's got greater potential than the other two thanks to his age - don't worry about secondaries just yet...unless you're pushing for promotion...?

I'd flog Bignot, as (a) you'd be replacing steady with steady, and (b) with Respectable cons, he'll get you a fair bit more cash. You could then stick a fielding net on Wigg, if you wanted to bring him up a few levels - it'll work faster on a 21yo.

BTW, what are the wages like on Bignot and Wigg?

Thanks. I think I'll keep him and sell Wigg then even though I just got him near the end of last season.

Once you start getting past superb the BTRs really start getting big, superb is around 10k and two levels later at remarkable you're at 20k+ and obviously it's exponential so the increases keep getting bigger. Armstrong's secondary probably makes up around 70k of BTR. Summers is on worthless-worthless form (sold from a bot) otherwise he'd have an even bigger BTR.

66k for Summers. But if I'd bought someone else I'd have probably had to burn a net on them and a net is worth that wage basically (I could get that sort of return on the guy I just bought if I wanted to).

Just bought a 17 year old comp/comp all-rounder with poor secondaries for 40k, which seems like a pretty good deal to me. Mainly wanted him to fill a role in the team while my other all-rounder trains, but I might give him a bowling net at least.
