Hearing reports and apparently according to GEO news too.
Shoulder problem rules asif out of 3rd test
:-O Oh God no! What is up with this injury bug?? Kamran Abbasi on cricinfo has some valid points about PCB needing to do a better job vis a vis their medical hires. If Asif is out, we are looking at the scary prospect of Sami and either Shahid/Rana being the front-line pace bowlers. Heavens have mercy!

Seriously i am not that worried about the test series anymore.....dont care who wins!!!!! Its all about the world cup at this moment, and our players should be fully fit. Even if its a very very minor injury they shouldnt bother playing him for most of the ODI's aswell.

Lets take a deep breath. Going by cricinfo, we have the following facts.

Shoaib out.
Pollock out.
Ntini stays. (Interesting implications in view of Goughy's hypothesis)
Gul out.
Shabbir out.

Pakistan team tommorow morning is likely to be,

Hafeez
Hameed
Younis

 Is no one watching this game?

F..art dropped by de Villiers on 1. Sharp chance but he usually snaffles anything.

Now he has one, Hafeez gone. Pitch looks rough as guts

Yeah I heard it was a minefield. Playing badly Fiery?
G'day PY. Yep, it's very motley, patches of grass all over it and the ball is hissing off a good length. Even the outfield looks terrible. 2 down now already

Is anyone out there actually watching this? It sounds wonderfully entertaining.
Yep, I've got it on whilst doing various other things on the internet. (Haha, that doesn't sound good at all - I assure you though they are completely clean things.. :p). You aren't wrong either - very entertaining cricket, albeit sloppy at times from both teams.

Yeah. Was a period of very good test cricket. Yousuf played some very good strokes and hit almost every thing on to the middle of his bat before he became a bit edgy. Ntini v Yousuf was a tight contest and excellent to watch and Kallis was bowling well as well.

Looks like Kallis has found his bowling form again. Or maybe he's just putting in an effort because the juicy pitches will boost his average.

Almost choked on my pepperoni pizza when I saw that Pollock and Nel were resting from a Series-deciding Test Match.

Ive only seen about 2 overs of today's play - one of each innings but my impression is that:

a. the pitch is a minefield and unfit for tests

b. Yousuf must have played wonderfully well

c. Amla, no matter what the pitch conditions, is not test quality

d. Jacques, do the right thing and step up to 3 because those in front of u are walking wickets and youre just delaying the inevitable by batting at 4
