Dorf's looking a good shout for the Aus NT position, as long as some ass sucker like Nightowl doesn't apply.
Oh **** I hate Nightowl. Worst guy. If this forum had a 'you know what really grinds my gears' thread, he'd be in it.

Edit: Just got 150k for Parr. Gives me a good looking balance:

Current Balance: £1,215,289
Projected balance at next Update: £271,478

Ok, listed Horne for 3m, he's got fairly decent sublevels for bowling and consistency but I still want to give myself a chance of upgrading to someone a bit nice.

PY's almost certainly going to win his election, as the only officially announced candidate.
I was actually thinking of sacking it off as people want to know my life story and can't be bothered answering stupid questions like "Why has a Indian NT player been put on the market for a ridiculous price?". How the hell am I supposed to know?

But I shall indeed carry on if there aren't any other candidates who are worthy of the name.

Meh, you'll have to answer plenty of stupid questions if you get the gig ('my mediocre batsman is averaging 150 in my league which contains seven bots, why isn't he in the NT?!'). It's alright though, you don't have to do much with the NT job really, unlike the U19 job.

I'm sure you'd regret it if you didn't.

I reckon being manager of a second-tier NT like India is pretty attractive - you get the perks of being NT head honcho, but without the massive pressure (and highly fickle users) that'd come with being Eng/Aus boss. If you can get to the WC final anyway, so much the better ;)

I feel sorry for anyone who's unfortunate enough to be running for the England NT, they're a rather vindictive bunch. Some of the questions being asked of the candidates are ridiculous.

Although I'd like to claim some credit for them making sure their NT manager is half-decent this time.

Cbf, already done it for four seasons or something. Bergkristian (of NorCricket United fame) is running unopposed.

Edit: cheers.

Yea, I'm not sure which one I want, the two medium pacers are way better for my balance but the spinner is the only one who doesn't have rock bottom sublevels. Going to be perculiar keeping an eye on three players going at the same time.

How/why? Did you persuade Jon_Boy to run?

I couldn't get on to the conferences at the time of the last election, so completely missed it all. Mind you, I don't really pay much attention to NT affairs anyway.

I have been looking at eggy6198 and Jon_Boy's threads this time round, as they look to be the front runners. While I was almost certainly going for Jon_Boy anyway, the realisation that eggy relegated deliberately from IV completely rules him out. For me, anyway.
