Australia going at 1.06, from my experience thats extremely short in a situation like this. It'd normally be 1.20-1.25.

I guess the bookies have no faith in England, or an extremely huge amount of faith in Australia.
Yeah I saw the odds, England paying $15.00 or so. Although if Hussey goes those odds drop a bit for England. Tempting to put a fiver on it.

So Lewis finished with 4-36 and now has an ODI average of just over 25. Interestingly, Anderson's average is about the same, and Flintoff's is juts a little higher. Not really a bad attack at all, let's see if Tremlett can do anything, because we could have something to work with with that quartet in ODIs.

Glorious shot from White.

My first thought with Hussey was that it flicked the thigh and wasn't out, but it was close.

Anderson gets his revenge now. Shaping up to be a great finish. :)

Goddamn I have to go and continue my training. Hoping we can snatch this one here, exciting stuff.

I'll say this - we'll get more wickets yet. Come on England :D

Taylor dead right about the Anderson ball to White. Was an absolute beauty. Looked more like a batting error at first glance, but you can't blame White at all.

Main problem for England now is who will bowl the rest of the overs really. With Flintoff a bit sore and Lewis and Anderson just about done, there's not heaps left. If Hussey just bats time there will be easier runs to come.

How many left for Tremlett?

EDIT I see 4 more.

4 each for Tremlett and Flintoff, and Anderson has 1. 10 overs have to come from Dalrymple, Collingwood and whoever else.
Oh yeah, thanks. Could do with Monty Panesar?

Anderson so unlucky not to get Lee out.

Bowled really well, unlucky to get more wickets. Some days he will bowl crap and pick up more wickets or bowl very well and only get two. That's cricket for you.

Hussey top edges Flintoff for six.

Honestly, and I know it's a tired argument but what's the point of having technology like Snicko when the umpires aren't allowed to use it. 3rd umpire should be able to overrule the 2 umpires out in the middle in situations like Hussey's when the batsman is too dishonest/cheating to walk or at least they should be able to refer it to the 3rd umpire

That's it for Anderson, 2 for 28. Definitely the pick of the bowlers for England. Accurate, sharp, swung it both ways and deserved both of his wickets and maybe even more. Funny game when Lewis gets twice as many and bowls half as well.

Man of the match will be tough here. Lewis and Anderson both in line if England win, along with whoever takes the last four wickets, while Australia have McGrath, Bracken and potentially Hussey.

If Australia win and Hussey is there, then he will get it IMO.

Tired argument indeed, and the same responses apply. If it's not conclusive the vast majority of the time, you can't use it.
