Still not enough wickets and too high an economy rate. Maybe I'll just pinch-hit my way around CW land from now on.

What the hell does my economy rate have to do my low S/R? In any case, I'd rather be an explosive Wasim-esque bowler any day than a boring old McGrath-type off spinner. :p
I'm saying you're only interested in your S/R cause your econ rate sucks. At the test level, the batsmen will get on top of you and kill your confidence. If I'm picked on the other hand, I can still keep it tight when things don't go right for me.

Of course, I am extrapolating everything based on three game body of work, which of course shouldn't matter for me but I'm sure you'll get worse. :p

This is American OD matches, not ODI, and seeing as the CWXI ODI teams is one of the best in the world, neither of you are going anywhere with poncy wickets in America :p

Having said that, you both did better than me. Form ran out

I'll work my way up, just you watch! SS on the other hand will stay in Washington and would rather play charity matches to collect money for a McGrath monument that would show him bowling an off spinner.

How about you focus on your crazy economy rate first? If these club cricket batsmen are carting you around, you've got no shot further up. Me, I have an nice balanced sheet with excellent averages, econ and strike rates. A much better prospect.

More runs from the top order for me. TBH I'd be pleased with a 50+ score every five or six innings, with a start one in every three.

You guys who are discussing your strike rates, economy rates etc, you do realise just how low level this is? Not wanted to blow my own trumpet, but in my first season of club cricket I took 8-5 in a one-day game in the Dutch League. And I've never been a good one-day player (until last week's 180).
