Western Dynamo vs Northern Power
at Pickford Park
The Western Dynamo hosted the Power at Pickford Park with a hope to get back to the winners circle after tasting defeat for the first time last round. The Power would have a tough task against the Dynamo who had National star David Kennett returning. However could desperate times help the Power get an upset win.
East Coast Fury vs Southern Stallions
at The Cricketweb Stadium
A contest of First vs Last would usually be a simple result to come up with, However this game was different.. Holy Crap, what a rearguard action there by the Swell.
Jaso was brilliant. Actually, no he was better than that.
9 men with 2 red cards and 2 injuries meant that that was a hard fight to get a result against a good opponent.
Thats the result Im most proud of the boys for so far this season.
Aside from all the excellent feats, Pickup again getting sent off dreadful. I cant fathom it really and the suspension will really hurt us.
End on a good note. Great result boys

Disappointing loss. We played really well but just couldn't score. What do I need to do to score?? Penalty not given, crossbar, missed a sitter and cameron came up with a point blank save. I was pleased with my involvement that game but it was all to no avail really not scoring or getting an assist. Sums up the team's performance though, we played well with virtually nothing to show.
