I'm amazed that people defend Asif.. I was expecting a few Pakistani fans to (on the whole they've been very good so far), but surely his position is indefensible?
It's more a case of the Asif-bashers annoying everyone who is trying to discuss the ongoing match with what virtually feels like spam.
Pretty much everyone accepts that Asif shouldn't be out there tbh. "Get over it" means "stop the spam, we get it" rather than "too bad for you, asif didn't get banned, hah!". :)

He has had a very good season. Held a couple of Saffer innings together against the Indians and now pretty much doing the same. Good on him.
Yeah, his cut the crap out he was doing eighteen months back. Aesthetically his a lesser cricketer for it but the bunts are jabs are paying dividend. Poor going getting dismissed like that just before lunch but his set up the innings nicely for the likes of Boucher and Pollock to now take the game completely away from Pakistan. The wicket maybe flat but a lead of 200, even on this surface should surely be enough.

rabish bowling from rana
i have always said rana is only one day cricket bowler. sami would have been a good choice or if shabbir would have been selected in place of sami. the match would have been in different condition now
I’m amazed with Rana, his got all the tools, decent lick, swings the ball prestigiously and can reverse it, yet he bowls trite and not just one ball an over trite ala Steyn or Nel but at least two or three bad deliveries per over. Though I really couldn’t see Sami being any better.

Jesus. Doctrove not playing leg-before today, clearly. If Kaneira's shout against Ntini wasn't LBW I've never seen one!

Fair point by the commentators about Kaneria. Out of all the spinners I've watched in my life time, I think Kaneria is the one hard done by the umpires most often.

As little as I can watch of Pakistani cricket, for sure.

Kaneria should have had a hat trick already.
