Oh

The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds- pretty standard really. At the age of twelve I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking- I highly suggest you try it.

Just because Anderson looks like a 50 average bowler this tour doesn't make him "crap" - as his record shows, he is merely out of form/lacking in fitness/lacking in match practice.
How long does it take him to get fit/get enough match practice? He looks badly out of form, and someone should whisper in his ear asking him whether it's really such a good idea to be bowling Gilchrist either half volleys or short balls about waist high.

What was really scary about last nights game was how easily Australia did it - McGrath and Clark didn't fire and Ponting and Clarke really cruised to victory, didn't look in a hurry at all. The Australian fielding was very good though - Ponting, Clarke Symonds and Hussey spent most of the early part of the game starving the English batsmen from singles quite effectively. Ponting let that slip abit i think later in the innings.

Jeez White was unlucky today. Would have to be the toughest man to bowl to as a slow bowler, Pietersen. Needn't worry now tho.

Yeah that happens, was interesting that Pietersen went after White and not Clarke though. I thought Clarke bowled a little short today, given the conditions i would have though the batsmen would have gone after him more.

Time for England to pull out all stops and pick Rikki Clarke....only he can save England after King Viv's injury.....

As I said I have not seen it and I was specifically watching for it. I guess we will all see him hitting 150 regularily this series right? See you here soon then.

Wait, what? "You have not seen it"...I guess you're talking about Bond hitting 150? And you're specifically watching for it? But you just said you were specifically watching Malinga, and in the process, saw Bond bowl 'medium pace'?

Bond will often reach 140-150's. He doesn't get past 150 much. And, like Lee, He'll slow down a bit and bowl a few in the 130's.

To all the poms who showed sympathy towards McGrath when he got injured haha

When Vaughan said KP was goin home to get treatment did he mean England or South Africa? lol

Still managed to get the highest score in the match.

btw is Fred remotely fit, judging by the heap of dung that he's sent down today?
Not seen it, but I reckon the Aussie gameplan involved going after him today - because lets face it, he's the only decent ODI bowler we have, so if it comes off, we're toothless, and if it doesn't come off, he won't take a 10fer so they can get runs from the others.

There's some slaps being thrown in here, settling down with my cocoa and slippers to see who'll win the unwinnable argument about who knows more about cricket.

Cocoa and slippers at 11am - you students have an easy life! :)

Don't see what's wrong with Collingwood's innings personally (look at how 'brilliant' England are past Flintoff as well, plus only Flintoff and KP were fluent anyway), England should have added at least another 100 after he was out, but they only added another 74 in 12.4, which isn't even 6 an over - that's what choked England.
I blame the match engine.

Yeah i have never seen him bat before  . It was going to happen eventually.
You can't criticise him for doing it though. Just because he gets hit once doesn't mean all the countless times he's battered bowlers over their heads for six or whipped them through the leg side for four were a bad idea.
