How Are You Doing On CM?

I've been looking at buying a Football Managerial game for a while.... but the time has come seeing that i've belted all on NBA Live 06 & i'm up for a new Challenge.

My question is... Are FM & CM the same game but there has been a name change along the way, or if they are different games, which would you recommend for a Managerial newbie like myself?

well Fm is made by the same people who made CM for a number of years but when CM went to someone else so SI made FM so in conclusion FM is far superior to CM and FIFA Manager

Eidos and Sports Interactive used to make Championship Manager. CM 4 sucked because Eidos were too restrictive of SI or something or Eidos didn't like where SI were going and they split up. Eidos kept the name rights while SI kept the rest basically. Sega "signed" SI and they went about developing FM. SI were the original creators of CM and so it seems logical to assume that their product would be superior. And its undoubtedly true. FM 07 is brilliant.

All true. I dont have CM 07 but I have played CM from the original and owned both FM and CM 06.

CM 06 was poor IMO and virtually unplayable. Stay with FM 07. You will not regret it (as long as you download the patch straight away :) )
