Asif obviously way down on pace, but it was phenomenal spell with the new ball nonetheless. Unbelievable talent.

This should be a really exciting series I think. Incredibly tough to predict, and great fun to watch already.

Ball that got Kallis was ordinary - he'll be kicking himself for getting out seeing how Prince and Amla are knocking it about

Indeed, what sort of reception is/was the drugs cheat getting at the stadium?
It seemed fairly muted.. Disappointing really, maybe the SA public are uneducated about the severity of Asif's crimes.. Maybe, like with Cronje, they are just quick to forgive cheats who hold the entire sport to ransom..

Anyway, SA looking strong here at 160 odd without loss..

Mere coincidence that Billy "I know nothing" Doctrove was officiating from Asif's end?

I cannot believe Asif got four wickets and he isn't even bowling full speed.

I am not prone to overrating fast bowlers, but this guy two years from now is going to be absolutely great.

Asif is different class, four wickets and you be out odds of trying to figure out excuses of batsman error, Amla, Kallis, Smith and AB all got deliveries which they had to play. Played Hashim but South Africa are really in trouble here, Gibbs against Asif, only one winner, me thinks.
