God SA are missing Steyn real bad. Bowls at 150kph and now has alot more accuracy when younger. This attack seems a bit one paced and I get the feeling that pollock will quit test match cricket after this series as he isn't very effective. He might prove me wrong.Pakistan are playing very well and younis in particular is a class act and with Inzi to come Pakistan could be looking at 350-400.

Yep Kallis has bowled poorly. I think Morne Morkel should have played instead of Harris with his extra pace and bounce a real handful. For Pakistan I feel farhat has to be dropped until he learns about shot selection and to any Pakistan fan would they like to tell me why Salman Butt was dropped and seemed a really good player in the home series against England and has a better defence than farhat

Dunno about Pollock retiring - he had a great series against India. As I read it, that was the first time he's been fit in ages.

Didn't pollock turn to off breaks in a recent match against sri lanka. One bad series from him and I think the likes of Morne Morkel and Dale Steyn will take his place. Still a good performer though.

Good to see Yasir in the runs, been saying for what seems like an eternity that he would be an excellent addition to the Pakistani side. Good stuff from these two and the differences from the Indians is that they haven’t allowed the South Africans to dictate terms, looking to be positive and have forced South Africa on the defence.

Though in saying the South Africans have bowled a lot of rubbish and as in the first test against India they have bowled ridiculously short. And doubtlessly with pitch up bowlers like Rana and Nazir playing they could be taught another lesson off where to bowl and where they went once more.

He can only do one of those at a time, even against New Zealand he wasn't bowling faster than 140 kph.

Yes was down in a bit of pace in the india series but I really like his aggresion.Seems ludacrious that the SA couch is going to rest pollock or ntini for one of the games. There their best bowlers and it seems like the coach isn't really taking this seriously.I know the world cup is coming up but without one of them especially ntini the SA attack really loses it's potency.

Huge wicket for SA.What was the dismassal like?.Heard it was caught by nel so must have been a loose shot.If they get Inzi out quickly and get in to Iqbal,Akmal and the bowlers SA have a chance to restrict them to 300.

From what I heard, his wife isn't sick, she is giving birth.
She had complications with her pregnancy, which forced Mo out of the West Indies ODI series. She is expected to give birth sometime this week but she was seriously ill around the Christmas period.
