New Cricket Trivia - 'SJS format'

Thought we were sooooo close there. Time for a recap I think. My original Q was:

I have uniquely performed this feat twice. Who am I & what is the feat?

Q1: Is it an AR feat? - No
Q2: If no, then only consider: is it a batting feat? - No.
Q3: If no then only consider: is it a bowling feat? - Yes. :)
Q4: Can the feat be accomplished in a single game? - Yes.
Q5: Is it Matthews taking a hat-trick in each innings of the same Test? - No, but so, so warm.
Q6: Wasim Akram, the only player to take a Hattrick in consecutive test matches?? Against Sri-Lanka in 98/99 - No, but again, close; very, very close.

I'll give a clue to speed things along: Tom Matthews could've achieved this but Wasim Akram couldn't.

seeing as "The Mac" doesn't want to take the glory.... i'll be a cheapskate :p(gonna laugh if this is wrong, but meh) and "try" and take it from him...

Hugh Trumble, the only Australian to take 2 test Hattricks??

Q9: No! Tom Matthews is an Aussie too. The agony continues.

Okay, not happy with that last answer:@

Is he the only player to finish a Test match with a hat-trick and he has performed the feat twice:)

Thanks BB, this should be a hard one, but with the yes/no format should not last too long:)

Q. What is this thing?

This thing was removed from the game of cricket between the years 1774-1816, but was re-introduced in 1817 and has been part of cricket ever since

The toss?

Out of curiosity, what replaced the toss as a means of deciding who batted/fielded first? :)
Yea, I'd want to know that too. One of my annoyances with cricket is that the toss has too much bearing on the outcome of a game. But I've no idea how to replace it (other than having the visiting team always pick whether to bowl or bat first).

That is the way they did it for those years I mentioned:)
