Liverpool's season has been just like United last season. Could end up to a real disappointing season for them, don't think they have a chance to win the premiership even if my boys, Chelsea or the gunners slip up, Barcelona most likely will send them out of the CL as well. Carling up about i guess..
Personally i would put a bet on liverpool knocking barcelona out, they are one of the few teams i would say that about as well, if not the only team. But yes, no chance of a premiership win for them, out of the question.

But you'll still be jumping when we are Euro champs in 08, haha
Ha, no chance, hopefully wont even qualify then i can actually enjoy watching it.

All true, hopefully when Owen returns this year he can get back among the goals thus United can buy him, he be a super signing next summer IMO. Since other than Ronaldo & Ole (who isn't getting very young) not much back-up behing Saha/Rooney
you seem to hope united buy any striker, and actually seem to think its a realistic possibility which is even more bewildering.

This is why moronic football fans think England had a good chance of winning with the vegetable - people are so susceptible to media it's ridiculous
the idea of any success now is a shade more moronic in my opinion, but then who cares, its not like its going to be a surprise, the england football team is just entirely tedious, the fact that is full up with overated and completely insipid players like Frank Lampard just shows what a farce it is.

Seconded. I'm rapidly losing all my passion for English football, since it became apparent that the players don't care half as much about what they do as the fans do.

Wouldn't be massively disappointed if we went out today - I think we need to go out in one of the FA Cup or The Champions League if we are to win the Premiership, due to the size of our squad. Due to our draw I feel we have a good chance in Europe, and I'd rather that over the FA Cup.

Someone needs to tell the apeman to stop fannying about when he's in a good position and just hit the damn thing. Two good chances that he's lost altogether because he's trying to being clever.

Ironically I was screaming at Rooney to shoot - some finish from Henrik though.
Would have been a damn sight more straight forward if he had, fortunately Larsson has a lot more finesse than Rooney so he could finish when surrounded by players.

Manure should be hammering this lot by now, really (based on the play so far).

Yeah we should be, but we weren't too hot before HT IMO, much improved so far after the break.

Also Villa could have had a penalty IMO, they haven't replayed it yet in slow motion as they just dismissed it, but I think they had a fair shout.

Next season United should definately be looking to buy another quality foward & another left-winger.
Owen's getting up there in years. Would rather a young forward such as Torres or Huntelaar so that in around 2 years the forward line will be Rooney, Rossi, Saha and Torres/Huntelaar. Smith may be moved to midfield or sold by then and OGS will have become a coach either at United or somewhere else.
