Mohammad Hafeez has retired out but Imran Farhat has not finished yet, now Johan Botha is getting taken to town.

100 for Farhat, this is fantastic going for Pakistan, nearly five runs an over. They are currently 232/1.

Must be an absolute belter of a track. Not the world's worst bowling attack either.

Why is there a Supersport Series round being played at the moment, clashing with this game? Seems senseless to me.

It does but Paul Adams can't even get into his franchise side so he will be pleased.

Yet he can also be the only spinner included in the Proteas' Test squad. Such a bizarre call-up, especially when you see the potential in Harris.

It is, you would think Paul Adams has been sleeping with someone high up in South Africa cricket but the amusing thing is both selector Haroon Lorgat and coach Mickey Arthur have both said that Adams has been extremely poor in the nets and that he has no chance of currently representing South Africa. Which begs the question, who has he been sleeping with?

South Africa to take both series though Asif could have a field day with someone of South Africa’s right handers.

Yea, Sreesanth bowled well but Asif is just so much better. SA to go down to Pakistan 2-0 or 2-1, I think.

Currently, Pakistan has better bowling, better batting and better fielding [compared to India].

God, I can see some almighty hatred for that drug taking good for nothing if he rolls through South Africa.. Shame the crowds are too small to give him some real hell... Like what Murali has to put up with in Australia, only more justified..

South Africa need to lift their game to avoid a defeat here. Pakistan have a very good attack and batsmen who are as talented as the Indians and more reliable than them.
The fielding may still be an issue. I really hope Asif blows SA out and the openers rack up the runs.

Waqar out as bowling coach. He has a legitimate grief IMO. If the board has confidence in his abilities, then he should've been apointed as bowling coach for the entire tour. Instead, he's only the bowling coach for Tests and has to return when the ODI's start. That approach makes no freaking sense. Seems the earlier re-appointment of Mushtaq as an assistant had more to the story. I've always been frustrated with PCB and their genius plans of appointing so and so for a limitted time. Remember Rhodes as a fielding coach for what seemed like a day? A coach needs to be able to work with the players for a prolonged time in order to have any results. There is no quick fix that can attained when it comes to bowling, batting, or fielding. PCB generally fails to understand that. Ok, end of my rant.

I could see Asif having a field day with the entire South African top order, tbh. Its a shambles, with Kallis being the only consistent performer of late. Amla hasn't yet shown hes good enough at this level and Gibbs has been atrocious in Tests. Despite his good performance in the recent Test, Smith's has also been under pressure for his bad form in Tests. Is Dippenaar available? If so I'd like to see him given a go in place of either Gibbs or Amla.

Amla has a poor technique and his bat always comes down from point/gully when he is playing a stroke when it should be coming down from about 1st slip. Good to see the Pakistan top order batsman in the runs, all pushing for a test spot. If Sreesanth can have a good tour then I think Asif can do the same, very similar bowlers I feel.
