The Wheel is Forever
So can no one here tell me about the pitch or what? Are there any major cracks? I can't see it from the telecast, not many closeups.
It sounded like an order to me. Harper should've kept his mouth shut. It was up to Smith whether to decide to appeal or not. What Harper said definitely would've pressured Smith not to appeal. I mean how many of you would appeal after an official said that to you?Interesting. As long as it's a genuine request that Smith could accept or reject (rather than an order), I don't think I have a problem with it. You would expect that this could only be the case though if the umpires were taking responsibility for the screwup themselves.
That's a better question and the answer is still a resounding YES.Haha if you admit you're biased, doesn't it make everything you say meaningless?
Sorry man, everyone's been ignoring your request. I'll do it too. No idea tbh.So can no one here tell me about the pitch or what? Are there any major cracks? I can't see it from the telecast, not many closeups.
Seriously THANK GOD I do not have to hear him. I am hearing Symcox, Bhogle and Shastri. Jackman is one of the poorer commentators from what I have heard from him in the past so many years.Jackman won't shut up.

A lot of inconsistent bounce, a few cracks and a bit of dust coming out as well. All in all, it should get pretty tough as the game progresses. So can no one here tell me about the pitch or what? Are there any major cracks? I can't see it from the telecast, not many closeups.
No. Absolutely everyone on this board is biased in one way or another.Haha if you admit you're biased, doesn't it make much of what you say meaningless?
Yeah, this will probably be clarified during lunch, maybe... And the South Africans might be able to clear things up as to their take on it all. I assume (without actually knowing for sure) that it's a bit similar to counting the balls in an over, and it's the umpire's job to keep track of these time issues, and notify the players specifically - the rules may not say that though. However, does the rule book also state that the umpires should inform the players? Obviously I haven't learnt the rule book by heart so I do not know. Pat Symcox in the commentary box said - could the Indians have not figured out in 12 hours? Not sure if Symcox would know the rule book by heart as well though.
Sorry man, everyone's been ignoring your request. I'll do it too. No idea tbh.
Nah, different broadcasts and thus thankfully I have avoided the biased South African commentary talked up by the others.BTW, was it Symcox in the commentary box with Jackman at the time? LOL, that's the first time he would have been the more moderate of a Saffie commentary duo.
I thought you were a troll. Stop speaking the truth.Sehwag is also a disgrace....he should be dropped ffrom the test team plus the wc squad
