I don't want to be smug but I mentioned that Kumble prefers uneven bounce and not the turn that this pitch has. I also mentioned that Sehwag might have more luck.

Kumble wants grip off the surface, good bounce and can be lethal when he has uneven bounce. He would much rather have a pitch that bounces a lot rather than spins a lot. He may prove better from the other end or in the latter inning when there is more uneven bounce. You have to see how easily the batsmen have played him. Even after the ball bounces, there is time for adjustment and so decieving the batsmen is that much harder.
