Fair enough. Another reason I can't spend a ****load on watching cricket is because I have to pay fees for summer and winter league cricket too.
Your way is better and I usually take that too ;). But this year I've been having a lot of company to watch cricket, so I opted for the other package. :)

Kumble is going to be deadly on this pitch. Harris is getting massive turn and its only lunch on day 2.

Particularly to Prince and Graeme Smith. I know Harris is bowling well to right-handers, but Kumble could well and truly trouble the SA left-handed bats.

Wake up Harsha.

Loving this game by the minute, Ganguly to score a good 50 odd and silence his critics...
and Sehwag to do the same.

The tow big questions:

1) What will be agood score for India ?

2) How much a force will Kumble be in the 1st innings ?
1. 450

2. He'll do well and could really come into his own if India can set a target for the 2nd innings. Not much in it for the others I'm afraid but Sree is bowling well, so who knows

If there's reverse swing on offer, I'd say Munaf Patel will be dangerous....the Saffies haven't seen much of him this summer......
If he doesn't show too much rustiness from the layoff, I think he'll trouble them ....

Well for $250, I got:

  1. SA vs Aus
  2. NZ vs WI
  3. SL vs Pak
  4. BAN vs Aus
  5. WI vs Zim
  6. AU vs NZ
  7. SL vs SA
  8. AU vs NZ
  9. NZ vs SL
  10. WI vs IN
  11. SA vs IN
  12. SL vs SA vs IN
  13. Champions Trophy

And I know what you're talking about and usually I just do it your way but 500kbps doesn't translate to 55 inches TV as well as I'd like.
That's pretty decent. I think I paid $180 for just the Pak/Eng tour. Only problem with Directv is that they don't show Pakistan home games.
Well I am of Indian descent.

Problem for him could be match fitness as much as anything - it's hot out there and he hasnt played in a while

Otherwise, he is the sort of bowler to do well in Sa - tall, quick enough and relies on bounce and movement. Shame he wasnt available for first 2 tests as he would have been a real handful

What worries me a little more is that he's notoriously not the fittest bowler. So put that with lack of match-practice and he may be in trouble. He has shown on occasions to be much less effective as his spells get longer.

Hopefully Kumble taking up one whole end can result in the seamers being rotated so that they don't tire.

Stamina was really an issue for Munaf against the WI, but he was the only dangerous seamer we had over there. Zaheer and Sreesanth should share the load with him today, so he won't have to carry the load to the same extent. Hope he does well.

Good decision..whew....Pollock is a beast. The fact that he isn't opening with the new ball is nothing short of ********.

Opening with Steyn makes sense in terms of the future, but not when you're going into the final test all tied up. India have managed to own themselves against the new ball anyways, so it hasn't exactly hurt SA in this series.
