CW Round Table?

Keep the questions coming.

Also, we need someone with a clean smooth voice to do the introductions in front of the audio files. A woman's voice is preferred, though not required. Any takers?

I'd love to participate in the future, but not just now, as long as I can be assured that nobody will pick on me :D

Whoever's interested may as well get on with sorting out their microphones and downloading skype... adding each other when they register. I'm not very difficult to find...

Make sure everyone registers with me, at least...otherwise I won't know you're interested.

Just an update guys - a lot have expressed interest but very few have registered on Skype with me. You can't get on if I don't have you on Skype :).

On a different note, if some one wants to talk cricket with me, do feel free to add me to your skypes - put Pratyush Khaitan on the search bar.

We're looking for questions that are not related to a current series or player (historical or technical type):

Things such as those:

How much technology should be in umpiring?
Do spinners today flight the ball enough?

Are back to back Tests bad for the game

should cricket grounds be a set size

should there be a standard drop in pitch for all ODI matches

are cricket bats becoming too good, an unfair advantage to the batsman. If yes what to do about it

Should coaches be allowed to talk to the captain via an ear piece during ODI matches

Actually, looking at your list made me think,

With workloads and burnout being such issues, would it be good for the game (playingwise, not economically) if the rest day was reintroduced?

Or what about a sixth day added to every test, to be played only if the alloted overs were not bowled for the test due to rain, slow over rates or bad light? And only the number of overs nlost on the previous five days would be bowled, if any.

After the 2005 Ashes, Ricky Ponting was labelled a poor captain by some and now takes Australia to their first Ashes whitewash in 85 years. Freddie Flintoff however, will look back on these last 6 weeks as a time to forget as England captain.

- What do you feel makes a good international captain, and what do you feel makes a poor international captain?

- Is it possible to be a great captain of a great team?

Dislike intensely the wording of the first part, it is flowery and utterly useless but I'm tired and can't be bothered to think it through but it does need a short pre-amble IMO. :)
