Yuvraj out of Australia ODI
James Nixon |One of India’s key middle order batsmen Yuvraj Singh has been ruled out of their clash with Australia after injuring his left knee during practice.
Yuvraj suffered a cruciate ligament injury while playing a traditional Indian game known as ko-kho. The injury was confirmed following scans at a local hospital close to India’s training ground at the Punjab Cricket Academy.
Yuvraj joins Ajit Agarkar on the injured list. Agarkar has a fractured thumb and has been replaced in the Indian squad by Sreesanth who averages 34.38 from the 19 one-day internationals.
