Wavell Hinds to miss 1st Test

West Indian utility player, Wavell Hinds has been ruled out of the first Test match against Australia, as he broke his little finger fielding against Queensland on the first day of the opening tour match.

Hinds will not be fit until the second Test, and will miss the warmup fixture between the West Indies and Victoria which follows the first Test. The left-hander averages 33.54 in Test cricket, and Devon Smith is now expected to open the batting alongside Chris Gayle next Thursday.
