Tendulkar to make come back

Sachin Tendulkar is to make his cricketing comeback this week in a series of charity matches around England.

He has been sidelined since March when he underwent shoulder surgery, but will appear for Lashings CC against Cambridge University at Fenners on Wednesday to start a series of matches to help regain match fitness ahead of India’s next tour a ODI tri-series featuring South Africa and hosts Sri Lanka.

Tendulkar, will then face teams from Reigate CC on Sunday, June 25, before taking on Middleton CC the following weekend. He will then finish his brife stint with Lashings against Sutton Valence School on July 6.
