Tendulkar dismisses rumours

Sachin Tendulkar has denied any claims of his imminent retirement from ODIs in an attempt to lengthen his Test career.

It was rumoured that Tendulkar was considering quitting the shorter format of the game after series against Australia and Pakistan. However this was apparently news to Tendulkar who has claimed it has not even crossed his mind at this stage.

“I am batting brilliantly at the moment. The thought of retirement has not crossed my mind. I am still enjoying the game very much and want to play for as long as I can. Cricket means a lot to me,” he said.

Tendulkar is the leading run scorer in ODIs, amassing a mammoth 15395 runs in his 394 match career, so far.
