Tendukar passes fitness test
James Nixon |Sachin Tendulkar has passed his fitness test and is available for selection for the one-day international tri-series in Sri Lanka next month.
Tendulkar has spent the past five days with Indian team physio Niranjan Shah who has conducted various tests on his right shoulder and confirmed Tendulkar’s availability for selection.
Doctor Andrew Wallace, Tendulkar’s surgeon in London, was also consulted and he was extremely pleased with Tendulkar’s recovery following his shoulder surgery earlier in the year.
Tendulkar spent the past few weeks in England playing for charity side Lashings where he scored four centuries in five innings and also scored an unbeaten 50 for an International XI against Pakistan in a ten over match last week.
