Solanki to captain England Lions

Vikram Solanki has been named captain of the England ‘A’ side to take on the West Indies in a one-day game next Thursday at Worcester.

The team named features a selection of players with international experience with only two players of the squad of 12 having not represented England fully.

Players from the teams in Friends Provident Trophy semi-finals were not considered due to a clash in fixtures.
